About the project:

YouRTI.in was built with an aim to create a robust and scalable technology platform that would enable people, organizations and institutions to file RTI requests easily, speedily and if desired anonymously.

The YouRTI.in platform removes the hurdles in seeking information from the government and people can request information simply, anonymously, and at no cost if the query is in the public interest.

YouRTI.in submits the queries to the appropriate public authorities, and follows upon until it receives a response. All requests submitted through YouRTI.in and their responses are posted on the site for everyone to access.

YouRTI.in is implemented as an open-source, cloud-enabled platform.
