We are seeking a passionate and experienced Women Services Officer to lead and expand our financial inclusion program, empowering women through community mobilization, Self-Help Group (SHG) engagement, and capacity-building initiatives. This role is critical in bridging financial service gaps for underserved women by facilitating training, tracking progress through MIS systems, and ensuring program impact.
The ideal candidate is a woman from the community with a strong background in project coordination, data management, and grassroots engagement, committed to driving financial independence for women.
Salary range: Rs.25,000 - Rs. 30,000
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement and Mobilization:
- Mobilize Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to enhance financial inclusion.
- Conduct regular meetings with SHG members to assess needs, challenges, and opportunities.
- Foster relationships with community leaders, banks, and stakeholders to improve access to financial services.
Training and Capacity Building:
- Organize and facilitate financial literacy training sessions for SHG members.
- Conduct leadership and skill-building workshops for SHG leaders.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain and update the MIS system to track program progress, household targets, and financial service gaps.
- Prepare regular reports on program impact, challenges, and success stories.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Minimum 12th Class pass (Higher education preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in the social sector, preferably working with women’s empowerment, SHGs, or financial inclusion programs.
- Strong community mobilization and facilitation skills.
- Fluency in Urdu and Telugu with English language proficiency.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, data entry).
Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or related fields.
- Knowledge of government schemes and banking services for women.
